Ministerial Code of Conduct.

The Ministerial Code of Conduct sets out the ethical standards required of Ministers when acting in their capacity as a Minister in the Northern Ireland Executive.

When investigating a complaint against a Minister, the Commissioner can only examine alleged breaches of the Ministerial Code of Conduct.

Any complaint that is submitted to the Commissioner in relation to an alleged breach by a Minister must be in respect of an alleged breach of the rule or rules outlined in Schedule 4, paragraph 1.5 and/or the principles in paragraph 1.6 of the Ministerial Code.
